They look big and imposing. In composing the photograph, I sought a balance of light and dark with even gradation in tone on the lighted face of the foreground silo. The dark, visible side of the other silo is in shade, and gives weight and a sense of great size to the structures. This earned a First Place Award in architecture monochrome photography.
