Reach for the Clouds

I made a similar photo to this the previous day, under a sky filled with clouds. Flat light. No impact. But an exercise in getting myself and camera in an uncomfortable position to make the photograph. I hoped for a day of sunshine to follow and got my wish. The camera is very close to the elements at the bottom of the frame, and the lens at 12mm gives this dramatic, proximal view.
