I stood immediately behind and between two drummers for this photograph, so I was fairly close to the front group of dancers. Seventy millimeters at f4 holds our attention on the girl. Soft, cool light complements her complexion, and the highlights and rimlight (the lighted edge of her profile) add sparkle and life to the image.
