Carrying the Confederate Flag

Good backlight action on the battlefield. I do like shooting into the sun, but that results in many duds in open space such as this. This time, though, contrast was manageable. A polarizer helped, and high clouds softened the light for shadow detail without blown highlights. Grace note: catchlight in the eye of the horse.
