She is the matriarch of the Double Crown Dancers and was perusing the wares of festival merchants. With her parasol and large veil, you wouldn't know that this photograph was made in the harsh light of mid-day. They reduce contrast and put upon her a warm glow. She gets a star for bringing her own lighting control. Plus, there's that smile!
